In order for you to engage in any business activity, you need to register your business with Registrar as stated by the Companies Act 1972, and to have the appropriate license, issued by the Seychelles Licensing Authority (SLA), as stated by the Licenses Act 1986.
Exceptions to registrating with Registrar

• Agriculture business projects should register with the Ministry Of Environment, Natural Resources and Transport
• Foreign vessels should register with the Maritime Safety Administration authority
• Small enterprises should register with both the Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (SEnPA) and the Registrar
• Crafts and cottage industries should register with the Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (SEnPA)

Exceptions to obtaining a license from with SLA

• The Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (SEnPA) issues licenses for crafts and cottage industries
• Agriculture Sector, excluding livestock business projects, does not require a license to operate
